Classroom Assessment Scoring System Observation Training (2025-2026)
Effective teacher-student interactions are a primary ingredient of high-quality early educational experiences. With the popular Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) observational tool, schools can accurately assess classroom quality based on teacher-student interactions rather than the physical environment or a specific curriculum.
CLASS not only defines teaching quality through the lens of interactions, it also provides the ability to measure and improve interactions that matter most for student outcomes. CLASS is a journey of continuous improvement that is data-driven and focused on research-based best practices.
As you implement CLASS, you will:
- Focus on high-quality interactions and create a shared understanding of quality in your program
- Measure the quality of interactions to create a system that enables data-driven improvement
- Improve teaching quality through tailored and individualized professional development
Through these trainings, participants will be prepared to test with Teachstone to become a reliable CLASS observer.
