DESCRIPTION:Did you know that nearly 40% of California students speak a language other than English at home? Our state is wonderfully diverse—and this diversity calls for highly skilled special educators. CalECSE is proud to partner with Project MUSE\, the Special Education Resource Lead for students with disabilities who are also English Learners\, to offer a no-cost virtual training on conducting culturally and linguistically appropriate assessments. \nThis session will support special educators in strengthening culturally and linguistically responsive assessment practices for dual language learners.
