Dobson Christian Preschool & Childcare 

The Shining Star for the month of May is Dobson Christian Preschool and Childcare (DCPC).

Dobson Christian Preschool and Childcare is a licensed family child care home that has been serving Riverside County for over 18 years and the site has received a Tier 5 rating from the Quality Start Riverside County program.

The DCPC program serves children ages 0 to 5 years of age and has two classrooms.  The site has an infant room with child to adult ratio of 4:1 and a preschool classroom with 8 preschoolers and 1 teacher. The qualification of the site’s Lead Teacher is a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Arts degree in Human Development.  The Infant Teacher has a certificate in Early Childhood Education from India.  All of the DCPC spaces for both the infant and preschool classrooms are designed to create a developmentally appropriate environment that encourages safe exploration, allowing children to discover, make friends, and learn.
