Concept Development Training
A three-hour training on teaching techniques that utilize higher order thinking skills instead of rote memorization to build critical thinking in your classroom that will support student’s cognitive development, self-regulation, social interactions, and increase their vocabulary.
Topics will include: understanding learning styles, effective open-ended questioning, scaffolding techniques, student encouragement and affirmation, self & parallel talk implementation, language modeling strategies, and natural consequences versus punitive control.
Participants will deepen their understanding of these concepts during the training through concrete examples, interactive activities, and group discussions.
Check-in starts at 8:30 a.m. Training starts promptly at 9:00 a.m.
No one will be admitted into training after 9:00 a.m.

This is an interactive virtual training; participants MUST have internet access as well as access to a tablet or computer with VIDEO.
